There still remain a few wild places in the world and this is one of them. Nestled at the base of Kokrines Hills on the North bank of the Yukon River, Alaska’s Yukon River Lodge is located in the heart of Alaska across from the Nowitna National Wildlife Refuge.

This is a place where time slows down, king salmon steaks are common dinner fare and wolves roam free. It is the true Alaska - remote, wild and beautiful.

On this site, you can follow our progress building the lodge and some of our adventures as we live and work in this spectacularly beautiful Interior Alaskan wilderness, our year-round home.
